Recreation Unlimited Foundation

For over 65 years, Recreation Unlimited has provided a quality, safe, fun and healthy environment for individuals with disabilities and health concerns.

Recreation Unlimited camps are supported by gifts from individuals, corporations, foundations and proceeds from a variety of special events. This support helps provide camper scholarships for more than half of the individuals who attend Recreation Unlimited camps, helping hundreds of families benefit from programs each year, regardless of their ability to pay.

Create your own individual, family, or corporate scholarship fund with a minimum gift of $10,000. Many camper scholarships have already been created in honor of special individuals to support camper scholarships for the Summer Residential and Year-Round Respite Weekend Camp programs. Building and Endowment Campaign

Recreation Unlimited Foundation’s $13 million Building and Endowment Campaign to support Recreation Unlimited camps and programs for individuals with disabilities and health concerns has been a success. To learn more about this campaign and the accomplishments to date, click here.

We are proud to share our 2023 accomplishment of creating and developing A Complete Play Experience For All. The Universal and Accessible Play Area was designed by Midstates Recreation, one of Recreation Unlimited’s quality recreation and building suppliers.  

With a total surface area of over 13,000 sq.ft. and a play area of 6,800 sq.ft., the play area design will be a unique play area, that will become another signature program area on the campus of Recreation Unlimited.  The play area will consist of 13 different play structures with a designed play mound for slides and sliding at an elevation of 8 ft. as a focal point.  Each play piece will be totally universal and accessible.
